God’s creation expressed with oil paint—by Will Drzycimski.
As an artist, it is my goal to create God-honoring realistic artwork which presents the creation He has made in a clean, accurate, and biblical fashion. By mounting a painting or a print of mine on your wall, I hope to send the gospel of the Kingdom into every possible corner of the world by showcasing the beauty of the Lord's handiwork.

Shortly before I left town to get spun up at the new cargo flying job, one of my students gave me a ride around the Sioux Falls area, just for the enjoyment of it. It was pretty neat. And with no time constraints or pressures to fit training in, we got some amazing views and took as many pictures as we could. Flight instructing is tough, but the friendships and memories you make are entirely worth it. Good times.

This painting was taken directly from a picture I took out the side of the flight school’s Skyhawk, probably shortly after doing s-turns across a road or turns around a point or some other equally fun maneuver.

The inspiration for this one came from a pasture owned by my father-in-law in the mountains of Mexico. It is also near the place where I proposed to my wife.

My dad took a picture of a coffee cup in the Dominican Republic, and I’ve wanted to paint it for a while. I was attracted by the colors that were in it, and the composition didn’t need any changing.
Since I had stolen his picture, I decided it would be a good Father’s Day gift.

This 11×14 is based off of a picture I took at Palisades before we got officially snowed in for the year. The colors and the lighting lasted for about 30 seconds, but I had my phone with me. As is usually the case, I had very little idea how to start painting such a project, so I resorted to my usual tactic of praying hard and putting paint on the canvas anyway, and eventually it came together.

About the Artist
I’m a Christian, husband, and cargo pilot who finds himself with a God-given gift for painting. I enjoy flying airplanes as much as I enjoy painting, and I’m thankful for the ability and opportunity to do both.
I was homeschooled by my parents along with my eight siblings, and my wife and I hope to have our own small army of children one day.
Painting has been an adventure from the start—click below to read about how it all began and where we hope to go with it!

Another 5×7 goldfinch is up for grabs! These guys are fun to paint. Right now my neighbor’s place is the popular goldfinch spot, but maybe I should start putting out some thistle seed and instigate some competition.

I painted this in September of 2015, and it’s still a favorite. Clouds are difficult to pull off with acrylics, but as in any painting, if the Lord does allow me to pull something off, it’s a good feeling.

One year pine cones were very popular, so I got a lot of practice. This is #4, which has been available for sale for about five years now. It’s sitting on the cupboard.

It’s a red-breasted nuthatch! I like these little rascals. There was a stretch of several years where I didn’t see a single red-breasted nuthatch in the Sioux Falls area. But I was glad to see them return in late 2020. They seem quite a bit more tame than most birds of their size, especially if they’re in the act of tucking away food.

Thank you for your support of Christian art!
When you support our business and our family, you are also helping us spread God’s kingdom here on this earth—right now and today. We submit to Christ, and everything we do is affected by that.
You may have noticed that while I do not typically paint pictures of Jesus, doves, and sunrays, I call this endeavor of mine the production and spreading of Christian art. Why is that? Read more here:
God created us for the purpose of giving Him honor, and one of the ways by which we do that is by creating our own reflections of His own handiwork. When I see a client’s painting hung on the wall, I have a sense of gratitude for the privilege I have been given by God to display His creation through the work of my own hands. If I am successful in my work, He is glorified in all things. I’m just a regular guy on whom He has chosen to bestow His favor in allowing me to reproduce His handiwork.
Check out my other project!
In addition to flying and painting, one of my passions is helping churches in learning how to sing Psalms and hymns. I am in the process of writing a book on the subject, to include why this practice is more desirable to the modern contemporary style we find ourselves in. Check out my progress here!
